Springcroft Avenue, London

This project remodelled the whole ground floor of an Edwardian property in North London. The final design was future proofed, providing level access facilities on the ground floor for the clients, both approaching retirement. The bespoke freestanding column has a sculptural presence and is reminiscent of the clients’ modernist childhood home. This project included bespoke ceramic utility tiles, designed by myself in collaboration with the client, and made by the ceramic artist Leora Honeyman. The steelwork was hand fabricated and installed by welder Samantha Scrase Dickins.
